ISTliODUCTIONT l i c preseiit paper is an attempt to correlate the finer nuclear configuration of the anterior olfactory nucleus, tuberculiim olfactorium and the amygdaloid complex in adult man with that of the corresponding centers in various mammals.The stndy is based on a single series of adult material wliich had originally been fixed in formalin and then treated with the Huber trichloracetic fixative before staining by the routine method for toluidin blue.The series was prepaiwl in the Department of Anatomy of the T:nirt.rsit;v of Michigan 309
