This paper proposes the Finite Element Method (FEM) combined with Flux-corrected Transport (FCT) algorithm as a method to simulate streamer corona. The interested region is discretized with unstructured grids and the streamer propagation processes of two models are calculated to illustrate the performance of the proposed method. The proposed method requires substantially smaller number of grids than the conventional method-Finite Difference Method (FDM) combined with FCT, and the appearance of streamer propagation is quite similar to that of the papers which used the FDM-FCT method based on the structured grids.
