Stereotactic radiotherapy for unresectable adenocarcinoma of the pancreas

Abstract

SBRT for pancreatic adenocarcinoma was effective for local control with associated risk of toxicity and should be used with rigorous attention to quality assurance. Efforts to reduce complications are warranted. Distant metastases account for the vast majority of disease-related mortality.
