Abstract

Deep ultraviolet light emitting diodes (UV LEDs) show promise for advancing the state of the art in provision of drinkable water by disinfection. Development of such a system requires an integration of hydrodynamics, optics, and thermal management, which all interact to yield a successful rate of pathogen inactivation. With this paper, Dot Metrics Technologies, Inc. (Dot Metrics) presents the multi-physics co-design of such a system.
