More than one hundred hereditary neurological diseases of mice are now on record (Gruneberg, 1952, 1956; Sidman, Green, and Appel, 1965). For many of these conditions only clinical descriptions and genetic data are available and few pathological investigations have been made. This paper describes the clinical and pathological studies of an hereditary disease in mice in which the primary abnormality appears to be located in the perikaryon of motor neurones. The disease arose as the result of a guest. Protected by copyright.
