Two drug–drug salt forms of ciprofloxacin (CIP) with diflunisal (CIP/DIF) and indoprofen (CIP/INDP/H<sub>2</sub>O) were synthesized and characterized by PXRD, FTIR, DSC and TGA. Crystal structure determination revealed the transferability of the robust synthon 1 in the two novel salt forms.
