Abstract Two new complexes, [Cu(OP‐gld)] 2 and [Cu(OP‐alad)] 2 (shown in Fig. 2) with a subnormal magnetic moment have been synthesized and characterized by means of analyses, magnetic susceptibility measurements, IR‐, and electronic spectra, and conductivity measurement.
