Abstract

By extraction of tertiary KAuTe alloys, the salts 1 – 3, which contain new KAuTe polyanions, could be obtained. The anion of 1 can be roughly described as a derivative of an [M 12 X 8 ] 4⊖ cube; in 2 and 3, planar [Au 4 Te 4 ] 4⊖ rings are present, the sides of which are capped by K ⊕ . equation image
