Extracardiac conduit Fontan procedure: early and intermediate results✩

Abstract

In the majority of patients, the extracardiac Fontan procedure, when performed as a staged procedure, provides excellent early and midterm results in terms of quality of life, maintenance of sinus rhythm, and preservation of ventricular function.
