Intermittent bursts of abdominal wall jerky movements: belly dancer's syndrome?

Abstract

A 47-year-old Iraqi Kurdish woman presented with a 1-day history of sudden onset of frequent, intermittent and painful abdominal wall jerky movements, 6 days after undergoing haemorrhoidectmy.
