Overhauser magnetometer for the Danish Oersted satellite

Abstract

An absolute proton CW Overhauser magnetometer is described, which has been developed for the small Danish Oersted satellite. Several improvements from the state of the art, imposed by the specifications, are described. They concern the weight, power consumption and absolute properties.
