An open-label trial of the PPARgamma ligand rosiglitazone for active ulcerative colitis

Abstract

These data suggest that ligands for the gamma subtype of PPARs may represent a novel therapy for ulcerative colitis. A double blind, placebo-controlled, randomized trial is warranted.
