Abstract

Desmogleins were recognized by IgA antibodies of a few patients with IgA pemphigus. Considering that subcorneal pustular dermatosis type IgA pemphigus recognizes desmocollin 1, autoimmune targets of IgA pemphigus are more heterogeneous than previously considered.
