Variability in Lip Adaptation to Changes in Incisor Position

Abstract

Adaptability of the upper lip to changes in incisor position was determined in five individuals, lacking their four maxillary incisors. During test sessions, dentures with normal alignment and 3-mm incisor protrusion, containing a transducer in one central incisor, were worn and muscle forces were measured.
