Treatment of experimental Salmonella dublin infection in the calf with amoxycillin is described. In most animals a rapid response occurred when the drug was administered by the parenteral route. Results were moderately good when the oral route was used in calves fed solely on a milk replacer diet. In calves consuming hay and concentrates oral administration was much less efficient.
