π-Cyclopentadienylmanganese Thiocarbonyl Complexes

Abstract

The complete series of thiocarbonyl complexes, π-C 5 H 5 Mn(CO) 3−x (CS) x (x = 1, 2, 3), have been prepared by reaction of the appropriate cis-cyclooctene derivative, π-C 5 H 5 Mn(CO) 3−x (CS) x−1 (C 8 H 14 ), with CS 2 in the presence of triphenylphosphine.
