An efficient green-emitting α-Ca_1.65Sr_0.35SiO₄:Eu²⁺ phosphor for UV/n-UV w-LEDs: synthesis, luminescence and thermal properties

Abstract

A series of Eu²⁺-doped α-Ca_1.65Sr_0.35SiO₄ phosphors synthesized <italic>via</italic> the high-temperature solid-state reaction method can emit intense green light under UV/n-UV excitation, which show potential application in UV/n-UV-pumped white-light-emitting diodes.
