A study of the mechanisms of particle buildup on single ferromagnetic wires and spheres

Abstract

Particle buildup processes for paramagnetic, diamagnetic and ferromagnetic particles in HGMS are reviewed, and new data are presented. Previously published data are discussed using the local flow velocity in the vicinity of a collection wire instead of the average flow velocity.
