An experimental brain tumor model in rabbits

Abstract

Abstract A rabbit brain tumor model is described using transplanted VX‐2 carcinoma. The mean survival time after tumor transplantation was 9.3 days, and the reproducibility rate was 90%. In addition, this new model offers significant advantages over previously reported brain tumor models in terms of ease of induction and shortened latency times.
