Surgical Treatment of Popliteal Artery Aneurysms

Abstract

The results of prophylactic operations for popliteal aneurysms on asymptomatic limbs are significantly better than those of operations done on limbs with ischaemic symptoms. The aneurysm size at which to recommend surgery is still not settled.
