Simvastatin Therapy Normalizes Sympathetic Neural Control in Experimental Heart Failure

Abstract

These data strongly suggest that SIM normalizes autonomic function in CHF by inhibiting central Ang II mechanisms and therefore the superoxide pathway. These data also demonstrate that SIM improves left ventricular function in pacing-induced CHF rabbits.
