(1) Re-isolations of a recently described virus, Chikungunya, are described from sera taken by a colleague 2 – 2 - (2) Convalescent sera stored for the same period as the acute phase sera were tested for antibody. Of nine paired acute and convalescent sera, increases in neutralization of the convalescent sera over the acute sera, ranged from 0.6 to 2.2 log units. Of 44 convalescent sera, 32 neutralized 400 LD50 of Chikungunya virus.
