Abstract

All four antipsychotics demonstrated incomplete placental passage. Quetiapine demonstrated the lowest placental passage of the medications studied. These novel data provide an initial quantification of the placental passage of antipsychotics and fetal exposure in humans, demonstrating significant differences between individual medications.
