Prognostic Relevance of Increased Angiogenesis in Osteosarcoma

Abstract

Increased angiogenesis is a prognostic indicator for higher survival and response rates to chemotherapy in patients with osteosarcoma. Thus, measurement of MVD might be useful in decisions selecting patients for future neoadjuvant treatment.
