Abstract

These data show a good penetration of moxifloxacin into both cancellous and cortical bone, with concentrations, after double dosing, exceeding the MIC90 for most pathogens involved in osteomyelitis and the clinic susceptibility breakpoint for Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
