Malignant Thymic Epithelial Tumors

Abstract

When a large thymic tumor appears with invasion of the great vessels, lymph node enlargement, phrenic nerve palsy, or extrathymic metastases on CT, thymic carcinoma rather than atypical thymoma should be considered.
