Abstract

The search for new electron acceptors and electron donors can facilitated by the use of semiempirical calculations. Here, in a combined experimental and theoretical study the first twin‐DCNQI‐type acceptor is synthesized (see Fig.) and characterized and calculations are used to assess the structural features which should lead to the desired properties. magnified image
