Geographical distribution and ecology of the Armillaria species in western Europe

Abstract

Abstract Over 4000 records of the six European Armillaria species were compiled to give distribution maps and host lists for each species. Differences in geographical and altitudinal distribution, pathogenicity, dissemination and ecological role are discussed.
