Abstract

SummaryA simple physicochemical assay for the quantitation of enhanced vascular permeability in inflammation was described. It was shown that the assay is applicable to the study of inflammatory lesions induced with known chemical mediators, to the study of enhanced vessel permeability associated with the Arthus reaction, and that associated with thermal injury.
