The saturable inductor is employed in the full-bridge (FB) zero voltage switched (ZVS) pulse width modulated (PWM) power converter to improve its performance. The current and voltage stresses of the switches as well as parasitic oscillations are significantly reduced compared to those of the conventional FB-ZVS-PWM power converter. The qualitative analysis is presented and is verified on a 500 kHz, 5 V/40 A converter.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
