The diastereo- and enantioselective reductive coupling of vinylazaarenes with <i>N</i>-Boc aldimines is described. The reactions proceed using chiral copper–bisphosphine complexes in the presence of TMDS as a hydride source to give reductive coupling products in moderate to high enantioselectivities.
