Frequency of Visualization and Thickness of Normal Appendix at Nonenhanced Helical CT

Abstract

Most normal appendices are seen at nonenhanced helical CT. The thickness of normal appendix, when the content is not recognizable, overlaps the values currently used to diagnose appendicitis at CT.
