Siamanthus, a new genus of Zingiberaceae from Thailand

Abstract

The monotypic genus Siamanthus gen. nov. (Zingiberaceae) and the species Siamanthus siliquosus sp. nov. are described and illustrated. The origin and relationships are discussed.
