Water‐Soluble Dendrimeric Two‐Photon Tracers for In Vivo Imaging

Abstract

In a (nut)shell: Covalently wrapped in a protecting and solubilizing dendrimeric shell (see picture), an initially hydrophobic two-photon fluorophore becomes a biocompatible contrast agent with strong emission for imaging in vivo by multiphoton microscopy.
