Switched Reluctance Motor (SFW) is advantageous due to its the simple construction, low manufacturing cost and high torque density. Recently, its application has been widely spread from industrial to home appliance. However, SRM causes acoustic noise and vibration due to the torque ripples. The torque ripples can be reduced by means of the geometric motor shape design and the electric control.
