Geographical distance from parents and adjustment during adolescence and young adulthood

Abstract

Geographical distance from parents during young adulthood has important implications for the young adult's well-being and for the quality of the parent–adult child relationship. Results highlight the importance of healthy adolescent-parent relations as precursors to healthy young adult–parent relations.
