Modifiable Risk Factors for Nursing Home-Acquired Pneumonia

Abstract

Two biologically plausible and modifiable risk factors increased the risk of pneumonia in elderly nursing home residents. These results provide a framework for the development and testing of a targeted pneumonia prevention strategy.
