Transversal filters with nonuniform tap spacings

Abstract

Some basic analytic relationships between tap gains, tap spacings, and sample values of a frequency spectrum on the frequency axis are derived for a transversal filter with nonuniform tap spacings. 'As an application of these results, a few realization conditions are shown for a transversal filter with a definite number of taps, together with several numerical examples.
