Esophageal tumor length is independently associated with long‐term survival

Abstract

Esophageal tumor length is an independent predictor of long-term survival in the current era and should be considered for incorporation into the current esophageal cancer staging system to better predict long-term survival and identify high-risk patients for postoperative therapy.
