Fibrate‐induced increase in blood urea and creatinine: is gemfibrozil the only innocuous agent?

Abstract

Therapy with fenofibrate, bezafibrate, and ciprofibrate may induce renal dysfunction. Gemfibrozil appears to be devoid of this side-effect.
