Possible Interaction Between Sevoflurane and <i>Aloe vera</i>

Abstract

There is a potential herb-drug interaction between Aloe vera and sevoflurane based on the antiplatelet effects of these 2 agents. Herbal medications with antiplatelet potential should be discontinued before anesthesia and surgery.
