A fundamental issue limiting progress in contrast imaging is that whereas linear imaging scales with frequency, microbubble imaging does not, as it is linked to the radial resonance of the microbubbles of more or less fixed size. In this paper, we demonstrate the principle and feasibility of a new bubble detection method, which allows microbubble contrast imaging at higher frequencies
