The molecular and morphological variations of Culex pipiens complex (Diptera: Culicidae) in Iran

Abstract

The male genitalia found as the most reliable diagnostic characters for identification of Cx. pipiens complex in Iran that confirmed by amplify the Ace.2 gene in the samples but we recommended the use of sequencing PCR products of microsatellite loci and COI gene in future study.
