Periodontal Status and Hyperlipidemia: Statin Users Versus Non‐Users

Abstract

Our findings suggest that relative to the general population, patients with hyperlipidemia are more prone to periodontal disease. Also, within the limits of this study, statins have a positive impact on periodontal health.
