Dynamic morphology of the secundum atrial septal defect evaluated by three dimensional transoesophageal echocardiography

Abstract

Three dimensional echocardiography shows dynamic features of defects in the atrial septum. This information may lead to an improved understanding of the pathophysiology of atrial shunting.
