Protective effect of carnosine on adriamycin-induced oxidative heart damage in rats

Abstract

An increase in oxidative stress, superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase levels, catalase inactivation and cardiac dysfunction induced by adriamycin were prevented by carnosine.
