In this paper, we apply the modified Laplace decomposition method (MLDM) to obtain series solutions of the boundary layer equation. The technique is based on the application of Laplace transform to boundary layers in fluid mechanics. The nonlinear terms can be easily handled by the use of Adomian polynomials. The obtained series solution is combined with the diagonal Padé approximants to handle the boundary condition at infinity. Comparison of the present solution is made with the existing solution and excellent agreement is noted.
