Gastric Tonometry in Assessing Splanchnic Tissue Perfusion in Acute Pancreatitis

Abstract

Moderate gastric mucosal hypoperfusion was found early in acute pancreatitis. However, gastric pHi measurement with tonometry has no obvious value as a screening tool to assess the severity of pancreatitis.
