Identification of objective pathological prognostic determinants and models of prognosis in Dukes' B colon cancer

Abstract

The cumulative prognostic index allows apportionment of patients with Dukes' B colon cancer into defined prognostic groups, which in turn could allow more objective selection of patients for adjuvant therapy, especially as part of clinical trials.
