Diagnostic rigid and flexible oesophagoscopy in carcinoma of the oesophagus: a comparison.

Abstract

Diagnostic oesophagoscopy can be achieved without perforation with either instrument, but the chance of diagnosing carcinoma was significantly greater with the rigid instrument.
